AJA HD10MD4 HD-SDI to SD-SDI Digital and Analog Down-Converter

The AJA HD10MD4 Digital Down-Converter HD-SDI to SD-SDI and Analog allows the conversion of HD-SDI video to standard definition SDI and analog component/composite video using AJA's high-quality full 10-bit data path. The HD10MD4 uses multi-point interpolation to produce broadcast quality down-converted video.

Framerate Conversion
AJA’S HD10MD4 converts 1080p 23.98 or 1080psf 23.98 to 59.94 output video utilizing the standard 3:2 pulldown technique. The output can be formatted for either 4:3 or 16:9 standard definition monitors.

Pristine Image Quality
This Mini-Converter uses a full 10-bit data path and AJA's high-quality scaling technology, HD10MD4 maintains the highest detail possible to ensure a quality conversion.

Audio Support
The HD10MD4 takes four-channels of embedded HD-SDI audio and passes it to the SD-SDI output. Audio output channels are mapped to follow the input mapping for a 1-to-1 correlation between HD and SD.

Compact and Portable
All AJA Mini-Converters use a compact design that suitable for tight spaces, around and behind equipment racks, on camera and trucks. This converter has a locking power connector that can't be removed accidentally or pull loose. Another feature is the P-TAP power cable that allows for battery power in remote locations.

Universal Power Supply
All AJA Mini-Converters are shipped with a universal power supply, which includes an international plug connection for use around the world.

AJA Mini-Matrix
All AJA’s Mini-Converters are now available as a mobile app on iOS. This feature allows the user to have control over their Mini-Converters through an app. This app helps the user to find a convenient converter for any type of situation, if is needed.
