AJA Hi5-12G 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Conversion

The AJA Hi5-12G 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 with LC Optical Fiber allows the conversion of 12G-SDI video format to HDMI 2.0. The Hi5-12G conserves a clear image with HFR that supports up to 60p for 4K/UltraHD 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 conversion. For this conversion, a single cable simplicity will be required. In addition, the Hi5-12G features 1x12G-SDI input, 1x HDMI 2.0 output, and 1x re-clocked SDI loop-out, with support 4K/UltraHD, and HDR metadata generation. HDR
The High Dynamic Range (HDR) delivers the ability to display a wider, richer series of colors, deeper, brighter whites and darker than standard signals allow. This gives the user imagery with a more dynamic perspective, which allows for natural colors to come to life and communicated to your audience.

4K/UltraHD
A normal 4K signals use a resolution of 4096 x 2160p, while an UltraHD uses a 3840 x 2160p. These differences can prevent some monitors from being used either in full 4K or in UltraHD workflow. The Hi5-12G-R has the solution for these differences, allowing UltraHD monitors to be used in 4K productions and vice versa.
In Addition, the Hi5-12G model can support High Frame Rate (HFR) inputs. The 4K/UltraHD signals at 50 or 60 fps can be fed into Hi5-12G and output at up to 60p for viewing with appropriate HDMI 2.0 compatible displays.

Audio Integration
The Hi5-12G can support up to 16-Channels of embedded SDI audio on input and can be passed to 8-Channel of embedded HDMI audio on the output with the ability to delay the audio from 0 to 7 frames for proper synchronization with the output video. The channels of analog audio output can provide direct external monitoring without the need to disassembled the audio.

Compact and Portable
All AJA Mini-Converters use a compact design that suitable for tight spaces, around and behind equipment racks, on camera and trucks. This converter has a locking power connector that can't be removed accidentally or pull loose. Another feature is the P-TAP power cable that allows for battery power in remote locations.
