The AJA ROI-SDI 3G-SDI to HDMI/3G-SDI Scan Converter with ROI Scaling Mini-Converter that allows high-quality conversion and extraction of a Region of Interest (ROI) from a 3G-SDI input to 3G-SDI and HDMI mirrored outputs. The ROI-SDI offers incredible image scaling, extensive aspect ratio conversion, and audio functionality. This Mini-Converter features a 1x HDMI output that can support up to 1080p resolution.

Region of Interest
ROI-SDI Mini-Converter can be connected via USB to a computer running the free Mini-Config application lets you select a Region of Interest from the original signal and have total control over how that region is scaled to the output resolution utilizing AJA’s high quality scaling algorithms for higher picture quality.

Moreover, this feature allows you to rotate source signals, customize a portion of an image or reframe the source image to extend the creative options for what’s been captured in-camera.

Conversion
Control the aspect of the ratio conversion with on-screen controls in the Mini-Config software that show you exactly what your source and output will look like and what formats are coming in and going out. An easy menu controls let you choose the proper output for any situation.

In addition, the output will be mirrored to both the 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs for simultaneous delivery to multiple displays or continuing signal paths.

Connectivity
The ROI-SDI uses a direct 3G-SDI loop through, allowing it to be placed in-line so you still have a connection to an external monitor while extracting to both 3G-SDI and HDMI. The reference input ensures the 3G-SDI signal out of ROI is locked for use throughout a production or facility.

Audio
The ROI-SDI supports 8-Channel embedded audio from a 3G-SDI input. The audio source and routing can be selected manually in the Mini-Config software and is embedded in the 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs. It also features a stereo RCA output for practical monitoring needs.

Compact and Portable
All AJA Mini-Converters uses a compact design that suitable for tight spaces, around and behind equipment racks, on camera and trucks. This converter has a locking power connector that can't be removed accidentally or pull loose. Another feature is the P-TAP power cable that allows for battery power in remote locations.

Universal Power Supply
All AJA Mini-Converters are shipped with a universal power supply, which includes an international plug connection for use around the world.

AJA Mini-Matrix
