The OGX-FR openGear is designed to offer a seamless blend of functionality, adaptability, and efficiency. It has impressive features such as 600-watt redundant power supplies for maximum power, Gigabit Ethernet access to each card slot, and a total of 20 openGear card slots.

Additionally, it includes dedicated 21st and 22nd card slots for network control and internal reference distribution, as well as a convenient front LCD for effortless frame management, IP address configuration, and fault identification.

Cooling

The OGX frame has been designed with a cutting-edge cooling architecture that enhances ventilation. Front door-mounted cooling fans ensure efficient airflow for optimal card cooling. A smart fan controller automatically adjusts the speed of the fan based on variations in power supply loading and temperature. The front door assembly can be easily removed without the need for any tools, making maintenance a quick and hassle-free process.

Control

The OGX is equipped with Ethernet for easy configuration and monitoring of openGear cards using the DashBoard control system. Includes MFC-8322-N network card is a Gigabit Ethernet switch, providing GigE access to all 20 card slots.
