This Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 is the new upgrade with Thunderbolt 3 interface that helps you to transfer files faster than before at a 40 Gbps transfer rate. This new feature gives you better support for 4K ingest when dealing with RGB or stereoscopic formats. Previous features that still the same as the previous series such as 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, PCIe, 4:4:4 sampling, analog connections, and real-time H.265 encoding. This unit also supports 4K DCI and UHD footage at up to 60 fps.

The UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 has the 2RU rack-mountable form factor with the primary connectivity on the rear panel. On the front panel, there is the LCD preview screen and basic control. For you who work on non-linear editing applications, on-set acquisition, VFX, audio post-production, live-streaming, color-grading, live-production applications, or other types of usage; this device will be the right solution.

In the package of this UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3, you will get 2 SD cards that are included which contain these useful Blackmagic Design Applications: Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility, and Blackmagic driver on Mac OS X/Windows 7, 8, and 10/Linux, and DaVinci Resolve (formerly known as DaVinci Resolve Lite).
