The Lynx Technik yellobrik 12G SDI to Fiber Optic Transmitter with Fiber LC is a small SDI to fiber optic transmitter made to get around the challenges of sending uncompressed, high bandwidth, broadcast quality video signals over long distances. You can have a very affordable optical transmission/receiver system for signals up to 12Gbit/s (40962160 @ 60Hz) while maintaining full uncompressed quality when paired with a fiber optic to SDI receiver (e.g. Yellowrik ORX 1400).
The OTX 1410 operates entirely on autopilot. Automatic detection, reclocking, and transmission of the SDI video format over the fiber optic link are all performed automatically. Additional features include a reclocked electrical SDI output. The 12G, 6G, 3G, and 1.5G SDI video standards are supported by the OTX 1410, which is offered in LC, LC-40, and ST versions.
