Description
The Lynx Technik yellobrik ORX-1802-MM 3Gbit Fiber to SDI Optical Receiver is intended to overcome the challenges of distributing uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances. When combined with fiber optic to SDI transmitters (e.g., yellobrik OTX 1812 or OTX 1842), you have a very cost-effective optical transmission/receiver system for signals up to 1080p60 (3Gbit/s) with full uncompressed quality.
The OTX 1812 has two SDI outputs and supports LC, ST, or SC Singlemode fiber connections, as well as an LC version that can be used with multimode fiber. Any 270Mbit/s, 1.5Gbit/s, or 3Gbit/s SDI fiber source will be auto-detected and re-clocked by the ORX 1802, and converted to an electrical signal. The module supports both 3Gbit Level A and Level B formats.
