The Lynx Technik yellobrik OTR 1410 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Transceiver with Fiber LC is a transmitter and receiver for SDI and fiber optics that is housed in a single, self-contained unit. The difficulties in distributing uncompressed, high bandwidth, broadcast quality video signals over vast distances can be overcome with this practical and economical method.
An efficient solution for any SDI signal up to 12Gbit/s (40962160 @ 60Hz) is offered by each OTR 1410 transceiver's independent transmitter and receiver channels, which maintain the full uncompressed quality. The transmitter and receiver both run automatically. The SDI video format is automatically detected, reclocked, and then transmitted via the fiber optic TX connection. Receivers automatically identify, reclock, and provide the optical SDI video input signal on the RX connection to the SDI output connection.
