Magewell USB Capture HDMI (Gen 2)

The Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2 allows you to record or stream an HDMI signal via USB 3.0. This capture device accepts resolutions up to 1920 x 1200p60 via its HDMI v1.4a input. If you need to stream or record at a specific resolution, the USB Capture HDMI will internally up- or down-convert the input signal. It can also perform real-time frame rate conversion and deinterlacing with its own hardware, relieving your computer's CPU of the processing load.

Because the USB Capture HDMI uses your computer's existing drivers, the capture device will work with any software that supports those drivers. If you do not have a USB 3.0 port, the USB Capture HDMI will work with a USB 2.0 port, but the resolution and frame rate capabilities will be limited due to the limited bandwidth.

The ruggedized metal housing of the USB Capture dongle makes it suitable for all types of mobile video capturing settings, including outdoor use. The housing is visually appealing, which aids in cooling the chip effectively.
