Decimator MD-DUCC Multi-Definition Down Up Cross Converter

The Decimator MD-DUCC Multi-Definition Down Up Cross Converter accepts an SD/HD/3G-SDI signal and converts it to SDI, HDMI, and component/composite & Y/C. It is portable and suited for usage on location or in a studio. The device automatically recognizes the incoming signal and maintains a 10-bit data channel from input to output. It supports real up/down cross conversion between any of the supported formats; all you have to do is select the desired output format and the device will automatically identify and convert it. This gadget is capable of converting both HD to SD and SD to HD.

The cross converter offers adaptive motion deinterlacing and aspect ratio conversion between 16:9, 14:9, and 4:3. HD to HD, HD to SD, SD to HD, and SD to SD conversions are available. Moreover, the machine provides 16 channels of audio level metering, with independent selection of any of the 4 audio groups embedded in the SDI stream. The built-in graticule generator can produce Action Safe, Title Safe, and Center Cross. Action and Title safe are particularly crucial when converting HD content to SD for display on an SD monitor, as you don't want to miss any important action or credits. In addition to graticule production, the machine is also capable of text overlays.
